There are several elaborate styles in cotton. The most famous of these is the ‘jamdani’ of West Bengal which refers to the light weight cottons woven in intricate and delicate patterns in the traditional cotton fabric. Jamdani or inlay technique was also developed at Tanda in Uttar Pradesh and is found in other areas also such as centres like Venkatagiri in Andhra Pradesh etc.

Cotton is also a natural fibre just like jute or hemp. India is also popular for its art of dyeing and weaving of cotton. It was an export product from ancient times.

You can detect breast exam sooner by conducting breast self examination (BSE) on a monthly basis. By doing so, you can detect breast cancer at its earlier stage. You must perform breast exam before the menstrual period preferably once a month. BSE is recommended for ever women from age 20.

You can also know whether you are pregnant or not based on the pelvic exam. If you experience any symptoms of pregnancy if the urine test is negative or if the urine test is positive you must consult a gynecologist. A pelvic exam is done by the doctor after six week from the last menstrual period, for confirmation of pregnancy.

These are the most reliable but costliest of all tests for pregnancy. The basic type is called the beta subunit HCG or radioimmunoassay (RIA). This test is often reserved for checking on pregnancy complications namely suspected tubal pregnancy etc. The test takes about one hour and performed on the blood sample taken.

You can find whether you are pregnant or not by buying a pregnancy testing kit available in drug stores, and checking yourself two weeks after a missed period or earlier. This method functions by detecting the pregnancy hormone in the urine. It is preferred to do the test on the first urine specimen of the day as it has more concentration of pregnancy hormone.
